Name Change and Updates

Hello my chronically awesome friends! 🙂 I haven’t blogged in about a month now. What a month it’s been. I have found a new doctor, or rather a nurse practitioner, in Bio Energy in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I now go there once or twice per week for acupuncture, and have seen the NP three times now.

Apparently, I am mold sensitive. This seems to be quite the under rated, undiagnosed phenomenon, and I would encourage you all to check out the info at http://www.survivingmold.com. I am a bit hopeful of this, as this is the first “diagnoses” that actually makes sense and would explain ALL of my symptoms which is HUGE! I have not had a real diagnoses yet.

The other thing is gross too, and I can’t believe I am posting this, but it’s a yeast issue. I have been given two different strains/kinds of pro biotics to help with this, and between the mold and yeast, ALL of my symtpoms fall under one or the other! I have been given two different prescriptions to bind up and detoxify from the mold. I lived in a moldy house for 4 years, and thought nothing of it. My symtpoms began in my 4th year of living there. If my body is really mold sensitive, and I believe it is, because there is testing for it, and it shows that I am, then that means my body is sensitive to it, and that my body is not equipped to get rid of it on it’s own, like a “normal” person would be able to. A “normal” person could have lived in that moldy house for 10 years or more, no problem. No symptoms.

And finally, I am in the process, twill be a process indeed, of changing the name of this blog, and the blog’s Facebook page, from “Handicapped and Happy” to “Divinely Differently-Abled”. Came to this conclusion from two blessed new friends of mine, Stephanie and Stina, and a nudge from the Spirit. Stephanie mentioned that she didn’t see herself as “handicapped”, but instead as “differently-abled”. I really like that idea. And we all come from the Divine; we are all daughters and sons of the Divine. Stina also helped me with the name. Thank you ladies! I love you and am grateful to call you my friends 🙂

I tried to change the Facebook page name, but Facebook is a bitch, and won’t let me. So it looks like I’ll have to start a whole new page, and refer people to it from the HAH Facebook page. I’ll probably lose a few followers in the process, but I feel in my Spirit this is something that has to be done.

Thank you all so much for your support. And thank you so much for all the nominations for the awards that I still haven’t had the spoons to accept yet, but trusting that I will be able to someday. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

EXCITING UPDATE!!!! I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE THE NAME ON FACEBOOK!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 The only reason it wouldn’t let me is because it didn’t like the dash mark in “Divinely Differently-Abled”, but when I typed in “Divinely Differently Abled”, it accepted it! Hoorayyyyy!!! 😀 😀 😀
