Pushing Through

Some days, it is worth it to push myself to do a few activities. Today, for instance, my body is sore and quite stiff, and my exhaustion is pretty high. But I felt compelled to push through and do a couple of the things I needed to do anyway. Now I feel better about relaxing, doing nothing productive, taking it easy, now that I did at least a few things that needed to be done.

Other days, I can’t do shit. My body knows it, I know it, and it’s fine. There will be other days where I AM able to do a few things before crashing, like today. I am pleased that I pushed myself today, while in pain and exhausted, to do these couple of things that took less than an hour total. I do feel better for it 🙂 Not physically of course, but mentally. And hey- I’ll take feeling better about myself today, in whatever form that may come: physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually – whatever.

    • Glad you were able to get out a little bit at least Carrie 🙂 Definitely worth it when we can. Then tonight had to cancel plans from being so sore, but at least I was able to be out and about for a bit today as well. Soft hugs, from Jessie

  1. today im taking it easy, i had a pretty bad dystonia attack and i know anything productive i try doing would not be my best. so an easy day for me

    • Glad you are listening to your body and taking it easy Ella. I had to do the same for my body as well today. But at least I got to be a little productive yesterday! 🙂 All is not lost.
